Rabbit Lake – Group Hike

Shëngjergj Village is found 37 km from Tirana (1hour drive), located behind Mount Dajti, passed 'Qafe Priske' mountain pass. 'Liqeni i Lepurit' (Rabbit Lake) is found just off Shengjergj village. We start our walk uphill from village Verri, crossing some village trails and hiking trails until we reach Shengjergj, continuing past it until we reach the lake itself. We return on the same path. This trail is well suited for everyone wanting to have an active day outdoors.

*We reach an elevation gain of about 500m, a distance of 9km, and a duration of approximately 4.5 hours which makes this a light trail. We start our hike around 9.30 am & estimate to complete it by 2.30 /3 pm. Please bring lunch with you for a picnic break at RABBIT LAKE

Optional: Traditional Lunch at the end of the hiking day. Lunch is  at your own expense.

*What to Bring: Hiking shoes are highly recommended, a wind jacket, lightweight warm layer (for uphill), thicker warm layer for the downhill walk, warm hat & gloves, neck warmer, poles if you have them. Please also have with you some snacks: dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruit. Must have 1.5 liter of water with you!
