Belsh is located in the central part of Albania, Elbasan region, and it is known for its fertile agricultural lands and natural beauty. The area is famous for its production of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, pears, cherries, and tomatoes, which are exported throughout Albania and beyond. Additionally, Belsh is home to the Belsh Lakes, which are popular destination for fishing and water sports enthusiasts. The town also has a rich cultural heritage, with several historical landmarks, including the Belsh Castle and the 17th-century Sulejman Pasha Mosque.

Please have a picnic lunch with you. We will consume lunch at a rest point halfway through the trail.

Technical Info: We reach a low elevation of only 250m, but a good distance of approximately 15 km, for a duration of 4.5-5 hours walk which makes this a moderate "+" trail for its length. The terrain is soft all the way through rolling hills and fields. 

What to Bring: Hiking shoes, wind jacket, layers according to season, poles if you have them. Sunscreen and Hats become a new necessity in the spring. Please always have with you snacks: dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruit. Must have 1.5 liters of water with you.
