We start the trip with a panoramic cable car ride up Mt. Dajti National park, after which we will follow a trail through the birch tree forest to Cherry Pass, between the two peaks, and eventually continue towards the Tujani Peak which is the northern peak. This tour is doable by all levels of fitness and it covers an elevation of 500m. The first part of the trail has an intense incline which eventually becomes more gradual. We offer this walk during hot summer days or during snow days in the winter.
The trail leads towards Tujani Peak sitting at 1,531m. From the peak, the panorama opens up to everything behind Mount Dajti, starting from Bovilla Lake, Arbri Road swirling along Tirana River, to 'Mali me Gropa' and onwards to Shengjergj and Mount Fagu and continues south. We take a short rest enjoying the views and then start our walk back. Lunch is optional and at your own expense at one of many restaurants up Dajti.
Technical information: This is a beautiful wide trail, with an intense elevation for a relatively short length so expect to work up a sweat. This trail is doable by all just slightly cardio challenging.
Participants are expected to have the right walking gear, 1-2 ltr of water, and a snack with them.
