Mt. Gamti is one of the mountains visible from Tirana. It stretches north of Mt. Dajti, and also North of Mt. Brari. This is a must-visit location for whoever lives in the capital. A short walk to a viewpoint offers amazing views of Lake Bovilla east and the Adriatic coast west. Along the trip you’ll discover the rural areas of Tirana and during the return we will visit Preza castle.
Technical Info: We walk a short trail to reach the viewpoint. Anyone can do it but some experience in the mountains is required and no problem with heights.
What to Bring: Hiking shoes, a wind jacket, a warm layer, sunscreen, hat, poles if you have them. Please also have with you some snacks: dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruit, and 1 liter of water!
