This cultural tour takes us to one of the most historical cities in Albania, Berat, a UNESCO-protected site, divided into three large neighborhoods; Mangalem and Gorica which are split by Osum River, and the medieval castle that is still inhabited. This city is also famous for its windows, which we will have a chance to view up close. The narrow cobblestone pathways throughout the city are amazing to walk through and discover the architecture and details of Berat's buildings. Other attractions we will visit include: King Mosque, Halveti Tekke, Holy Trinity Church, Onufri Museum, Ethnographic Museum. We conclude our city tour and head towards a local winery for some wine tasting and traditional slow food lunch.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a wind/rain jacket, umbrella, hat, sunscreen. Please also have with you some snacks and drinking water.
