COVID19 Vaccine GENERAL INFO – Nov 25, 2021 – Update

According to Albanian health authorities, the government is currently administering Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca-Oxford, Gamaleya, and Sinovac vaccines.

Foreign Residents can request to be vaccinated and have the vaccination certificate via  E-ALBANIA

Foreign NON-Residents – According to official sources, foreign nationals that are NON-Residents are not eligible to receive a vaccine locally however, the local authorities have implemented several times “Open Days/ Weeks” when the vaccination process was open to everyone resident or not and eventually continued to offer the vaccine to whoever requested to have it done with the only limit of no choice of which vaccine.

Vaccine Certificate for non-residents can be accessed at e-albania by doing a search from the front page top search menu for “Certifikate Vaksinimi Covid 19” and then by selecting “non-resident” and following the obvious steps.

Though the process has proved somehow not easy, also due to digit mistakes by the people responsible for uploading info. In order to solve any problematic issue, you can visit the Public Health Directorate, located HERE

The Vaccination Centers for Tirana are found at Scanderbeg Square and Air Albania Stadium as well as Public Health structures. Just recently the Scanderbeg square Vaccination center has been temporarily moved due to the holiday season approaching and the square being dedicated to the festivities.
