Kokomani Wine Tasting – Group Hike

This trail takes us through the rolling hills, olive groves, and various viewpoints of the Albanian countryside starting in the vicinity of Kashar, just outside of Tirana. We start at an old cemetery and remains of Kusi Mosque, heading towards the west. This region is known for its local grape called "shesh" called after the village under the same name that we will pass by on our hike. We will complete our day with a relaxing lunch at Kantina Kokomani, accompanied by some good red local wine.

Technical Info: This walk/hike will be up to 5 hours long, covering a distance of 13 km, and reaching a total elevation of 480 m

• This trail is doable for new hikers but slightly long and challenging at parts due to rough & ungroomed terrain - experience walking in nature is a plus.

What to Bring: Hiking shoes, a wind jacket, sunscreen, hat, poles if you have them. Please also have with you some snacks: dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruit. Some natural sugar in your snacks (fruit and dry fruit) will help with your energy levels. Must have 1.5 liters of water with you!
