This trip takes us to a beautiful natural setting, one of the pearls of Albanian Alps, Lepushe, located at the most northern part of Albania, next to the Montenegro border. Lepushe is a settlement in former Kelmend municipality, now Shkoder County, part of ‘Malsia e Madhe’.

Friday – We depart Tirana and reach Lepushe in the evening.  Once we settle at our guest house, you will have some free time to explore. Dinner, a traditional meal with local ingredients, will be served by our hosts at our guest house.  Saturday – will be a hiking day. We will reach the Berizhdoli Peak, 1970m, about 700m elevation from Lepushe which sits at 1260m above sea level. We will have a picnic lunch on the mountain, enjoying the amazing views. At the end of our hike, we will stop at another guest house for some locally made RAKI tasting.

Sunday – after breakfast and a lea-surly start we will drive back south with another nice stop at SELCA Waterfall. This is a two hour hike, total, including a short picnic lunch and a refreshing swim. This hike’s elevation is only 300m. Shortly after we will drive to Shkoder, with another coffee stop, before heading back to Tirana.
