You will get to know about the history and ethnography of Albania as well as our national hero Skanderbeg. You will visit the Old bazar and castle of Kruja, the National Museum (unfortunately the Ethnographic Museum will be closed to visitors due to restauration works until November 2022). After Kruja we will take a drive to Sarisalltik (Sah-ree-sahl-tick), at the height of 1176m. This place marks the epicenter of dissemination of the Bektashi Order in Albania. For the Bektashi believers, climbing the mountain has a sacred meaning. From here we will enjoy the wonderful views from the peak of Kruja mountain which dominates the west part of the area.
Your next stop will be at fortress of Preza, built in the 6th century.
